Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to edit our photos?

I always provide a sneak peek of around 10 – 20 images within 48 hours or 1 week (depending on the package you’ve chosen) of your wedding, so you can share them with your family and friends quickly. Your full gallery will be ready within 3 months of the wedding date, taking into account busy summer months. If the images are ready earlier, they will be delivered as soon as possible.

How many images will we receive?

The number of images you’ll receive depends on the package you select and the hours of coverage. The Ultimate Package includes approximately 700 images, the Extended Package around 550 images, and the Essential Package around 450 images.

We don’t feel comfortable in front of the camera – is that okay?

Absolutely, you’re not alone in feeling this way. Many individuals who have been photographed by me share feedback that they felt surprisingly relaxed, even if they’re not typically fans of having their pictures taken. I will provide prompts and guidance during the portrait session to create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. My focus is on capturing your natural interactions, and for the majority of your wedding day, you won’t even realise I’m there!

Do we get the RAW files?

I will edit all photographs in my unique style before delivering them to you in JPEG format, rather than RAW.

Do we need to provide you with food?

While not required, it would be wonderful if I could enjoy a hot meal at the same time as the rest of the wedding guests. Photos of people eating are not the most flattering, so if food is not provided, I usually take a 1-hour break to find a hot meal served near the venue.

What if we decide to change the date or cancel the wedding?

If I’m not available on your new date or if you cancel the wedding, unfortunately the booking fee is non-refundable. Additionally, if that happens close to the wedding date, you’d be due the full invoice amount. Please refer to the ‘Cancellations’ section of the Wedding Agreement for detailed timeframes before signing it.

Wedding love stories captured with passion, creativity and an unwavering commitment to excellence

What happens if you can’t make it to our wedding day?

In the unlikely event that I am unable to photograph your wedding due to unforeseen circumstances beyond my control, I will make every effort to find a suitable replacement photographer. If I am unsuccessful, you will receive a full refund. More details are in the “Impossibility / Substitution” section of your Wedding Agreement.

Do you travel?

Yes, I love to travel! I’m based in Staffordshire, UK, but I’m available to photograph weddings both nationally and internationally. Let’s discuss your plans, and we can make the necessary arrangements.

How far in advance should we book?

To secure your date, I recommend to book as early as possible. I photograph a limited number of weddings each year, so contacting me soon after setting your date is advisable. Most couples typically book 1-2 years in advance to ensure availability. Once we confirm the date, I will provide you with an agreement to sign, and a 25% booking fee of the total cost of the wedding photography services will be required to reserve your date.

How do I receive our images?

I provide personalised online albums that remain active for 1 year. You can easily download your photos and back them up. Additionally, you can share the online gallery with your family and friends. Some wedding packages also have a selection of 10 – 20 large prints included.

Can we meet you before the wedding?

If you live locally, I’m more than happy to meet you for a coffee before the wedding day. In case of a long distance, we can have a virtual meeting through Zoom. If I haven’t photographed at your venue yet, we can also arrange to meet there.

Can we share photos on social media?

Absolutely! However, I kindly request that you refrain from applying additional filters to the images, as they are professionally edited in my unique style. It would be greatly appreciated if you could tag me when possible too.

Do we need an engagement shoot?

Engagement shoots are a fantastic opportunity for us to build a connection and become familiar with each other. It’s a chance for you to feel at ease in front of the camera while capturing beautiful images. Couples who opt for an engagement photoshoot often find themselves more relaxed during the portrait session on their wedding day.

Are you insured?

Absolutely. I hold professional business insurance as well as public liability insurance to ensure peace of mind for both you and me.
