I’ll take you through their wedding, highlighting the most memorable events and drawing distinctions among the weddings I’ve experienced. Hawkstone Hall & Gardens is a venue where I witnessed the seamless combination of heritage and modern luxury, harmonizing with natural beauty and charm. It sets the perfect stage for an unforgettable wedding day.

Perfect Settings for Morning Preparations

I joined Amy just as she began her wedding day journey in the luxurious bridal wing named ‘Brontë’. It’s a spacious, well-lit area with panoramic views – an ideal spot for capturing morning preparations through the lens of a wedding photographer. Accompanied by her friends, she experienced an unforgettable morning. I absolutely loved this bridal room for its open space and big windows, which allowed plenty of light for those beautiful pictures.

Reiss and his groomsmen chose ‘The Cave’ for their pre-wedding preparations, a cool and luxurious space where they began their day with a game of pool. Later, we moved to ‘The Saloon’ for their final preparations. The Saloon is an exceptional space for getting ready, a detail worth noting for future brides and grooms. I highly recommend capturing a few portraits of the groom getting ready in ‘The Saloon’.

An Emotional Reveal at Hawkstone Hall Wedding

Amy’s excitement to reveal her bridal look to her bridesmaids created an emotional and memorable moment. Her bridesmaids were moved by her stunning appearance, and tears of joy flowed. I witnessed a heartwarming moment as Amy’s dad was left speechless upon seeing her for the first time. This marked their entrance into the stunning Chapel.

I fell in love with the Chapel, it’s a pinnacle of elegance and luxury, an ideal space for saying ‘I do’. Reiss eagerly awaited Amy and greeted her with an enormous smile on his face. After their heartfelt vows, the newlyweds and their guests headed to Hawkstone Hall to relax and offer their congratulations.

A Grand Reception in The Ballroom

The reception unfolded in The Ballroom, a beautiful space filled with luxury and charm. I admired the carefully planned decor details, executed beautifully. Guests were seated, ready to welcome the newlyweds. The speeches were unforgettable, brimming with laughter and tears. I honestly couldn’t stop laughing while hearing some of those stories. Amy’s dad’s story about her childhood love for fashion, and Reiss’s emotional expressions of love, touched everyone’s hearts. The surprise wedding gift of a trip to Mexico was a particularly memorable moment. I can’t imagine a better gift, I love to travel myself!

An Evening of Celebration

As the evening progressed, the party began with the cake cutting, followed by a heartwarming dance between Amy and her dad. The cake truly captured the attention of both myself and the guests with its modern style, becoming the subject of conversations. Amy and Reiss then took the floor for their first dance, looking absolutely stunning. This marked the beginning of an amazing night filled with dance moves, great music, amazing people, and a flood of emotions. I was impressed as guests constantly filled the dancefloor, enjoying the party into the late evening.

The venue team was very well-organised; particularly, their constant communication and adherence to the planned timeline were impressive. Also, I've noticed that they helped Amy and Reiss with anything they could, going way beyond the usual responsibilities of a venue staff that you'd expect. It was clear they acted as if they were family, and it was so heartwarming to see. I can't wait to capture the next wedding at this fabulous venue!
